A bit of herstory

Angelina Guarisco was born and raised in a small farm town in Michigan.  At 15 she moved with her family to southwest Florida.  Feeling uprooted and disconnected, she began focusing on the spiritual hunger she had experienced since childhood.  Years passed before she met Zeanep, a belly dancer from Turkey. During a three day workshop at a friend's home, Zeanep's classes brought about a transformation in Angelina.  After an energetic exploration of the movement and technique customary to bellydance, Angelina considered herself a dancer for the first time.  What began as a tool for self discovery developed into a life mission, to share the gift that had been shared with her.
